Il libro è stato scritto da Thomas Lumas, uno scienziato del XIX secolo che compiva esperimenti sui poteri della mente umana, ed è, guarda caso, connesso all'argomento della tesi di Ariel. È un libro maledetto, perché chi lo legge viene trasportato nella "Troposfera", dove è possibile, sulla scia degli esperimenti di Lumas, viaggiare nel tempo e nello spazio attraverso le menti di altri uomini.   • Topics of this book are metaphisic, fisic, science and astral travels. I think it's an interesting book and the two main characters Ariel and Adam, are atipical and "suis generis". I did love this book and its story pretty well.

    Complex character and kind of philopsophically interesting novel, mind opening.
