love it! hooked!

Was hooked from the very beginning! Right away I was impressed to find a new vision of vampire hierarchy. Finally something different that still held on to tradition. Was hooked from the very beginning! Right away I was impressed to find a new vision of vampire hierarchy. Finally something different that still held on to tradition. Everything, the plot, characters, etc, are all very well developed. You can't help but find yourself in if not Merit then one of her friends. I was surprised at the route the story took but pleased it ended well. Its great to have another strong female character to read. So often especially with vampires the female character turns out to be the victim waiting to be rescued. But Merit can hold her own.

This is not Romance. I'm not sure if the others in the series will be different. But it's defintely not a Romance novel. But I'm pulled into the ChicagoLand Vampire world. This is not Romance. I'm not sure if the others in the series will be different. But it's defintely not a Romance novel. But I'm pulled into the ChicagoLand Vampire world. I want to know if Merit will be with Ethan or Morgan. Both are/will be the Masters of the Houses. Ethan's been a pain in the ass now. But I guess he has to for he's the master of the House. He can't just think for himself, but for the House. It's sort of convenient that his consort turned out to be a traiter. But I just bought the second book. And will be reading it tonight.
