The author is trying to explain all the devine stuff using science... and tell us that we have true enlightenment 300 years ago... when we get rid of the grab of relig ... (continue)

I thought it was hilarious that the universe got saved by two 12 year old kids having sex! I enjoyed all the anti-god propoganda, but felt that for the last book it was incredibly slow to get going. I missed Lyra for the first 200 pages during which she was asleep and figured that could have gone much quicker. I was a little dissapointed that the rebellion went no where (as wars on heaven always tend to do in books).
